Sales Executive

We are delighted to represent our client in the search for a Sales Executive who will support the Sales team to provide smooth process of onboarding new delivery projects and continue to support throughout.  In order to be successful in this role is the ability to problem solve, be proactive and have an eye for detail. This team is growing so there will be an opportunity to develop within the business.

Key objectives:

Working alongside all Departments, to support the Sales Team to promote excellent customer service and innovation, through reporting, analysis, administration and problem solving, ensuring that the Customers expectations are met and where possible exceeded.

Responsibilities:

• Working closely with the Performance Analysis and Operation Support Teams to understand where there are challenges in the Network with Key Customer’s shipments.
• Using this knowledge to take ownership of, check, analyse and add context/summaries to daily/weekly/monthly bridge/exception & KPI reports, for Key Customers.
• Working closely with the Key Account Managers (KAMs), Performance Analysis and Operation Support Teams to take ownership of creating and implementing bespoke reporting, where required from Key Customers.
• Assisting KAMs with producing Quarterly Business Review (QBR) and Monthly Business Review (MBR) papers, presentations and reports for Key Customer(s)
• Attending conference calls and occasional meetings with KAMs for Key Customers, to take minutes and to enable an understanding of the issues being faced by them.
• Keeping the CRM system up to date for Key Customer(s), including but not limited to:
• Contact details
• KAM calls and meetings
• Conference call and meeting minutes and actions
• Opportunities

Producing reporting packs as required to cover peak and monthly/quarterly business reviews, including collating the following information alongside the KAM and the Operations Team:

• Forecasts
• Promotional details
• Last posting dates
• Non-working days both origin and destination
• Collection/delivery schedules
